On February 23, 2022 the La Grande School District held a special meeting to release the results of a recently offered online masking survey.
The survey asked similar questions to students, staff, and parents. Key questions were: When masking becomes optional will you continue to wear a mask, and when masking becomes optional will you continue to send your child to school?
When asked, 66% of 442 students surveyed said they would not wear a mask, if optional and 69.6% of 102 staff surveyed said they would not wear one. 94% of 488 parents surveyed said that they would continue to send their child to school when masking becomes optional.
