On Saturday February 5, 2022 at approximately 7:03 a.m., information provided by social media followers lead officers to a location where the suspect vehicle was parked.
Jacob Mack, 27 of Echo, was found inside the vehicle and subsequently taken into custody for his alleged involvement.
On Friday February 4, 2022 at approximately 2:09 p.m., the driver of this vehicle was interrupted (by a neighbor) while attempting to steal packages from the front porch of a local residence.
The driver fled in the vehicle prior to officers arriving on scene, but is suspected to have been following a delivery driver and watching where they made their stops.
Mack was later lodged at the Umatilla County Jail; his charges were: Felony Robbery III, Aggravated Assault,Theft II, Unauthorized Use of Vehicle, and Burglary II. Total bail was set at $120000.00.
