Imbler School District gets new Superintendent


The Imbler School Board announced today that they have selected a new superintendent. The school district had been under the leadership of interim superintendent Doug Hislop since the beginning of this school year.

The Imbler School Board is pleased to announce and welcome Mr. Randy Waite as the new Superintendent/Elementary School Principal of the school district effective July 1, 2022.

Since 2020, Mr. Waite has been the Phoenix High School Assistant Principal in the Phoenix-Talent School District. Prior to that he was the Assistant High School Principal and Head Football Coach at Rigby High School in Rigby, Idaho for four years. Mr. Waite earned his master’s degree in Teacher Education from Eastern Oregon University and his administrative credentials from Lewis and Clark College.

The Imbler School Board would like to thank those that attended the staff and community forums and provided feedback. The Board is pleased to have Mr. Waite as our new Superintendent/Elementary School Principal and look forward to many successful years working together.
