La Grande – (Release from La Grande Professional Firefighters Local 924) In the last 96hrs, La Grande Firefighters have ran 46 calls for service. 2 of these calls were night time structure fires.
Last night at around 9:17 p.m., La Grande Fire responded to a 2nd alarm apartment fire in the 1300 block of “O” Ave. LGFD was assisted by mutual aid partners La Grande Rural, Imbler Fire, Union Fire, and Union Ambulance. The fire was contained to mainly the 2nd story and no occupants were injured in the fire. The fire’s cause is under investigation at this time. E46, E58, E51, E30, E31, E72, E87, L44, R55, Air Unit 59, C4, M1, M2, and M9 responded to this incident.
