LHS Swim Team Preforms Well at Districts; Boys Win Championship

La Grande, Ore – On Saturday the La Grande High School (LHS) swim team boys became District Champions. The girls also performed well, finishing in 3rd place. In addition to the great performance at Districts, the LHS swim team will be taking everyone to state with alternates in relays.

Below is a list of accomplishments by the LHS swim team at Districts

Girl’s 200 Medley Relay consisted of Anica Setser, Mckinley Kruse, Chloe Lynch, and Shiloh Lynch took 2nd place

Boy’s 200 Medley Relay consisted of Jake Weigand, Glenn Ricker, Drake Adair, and Zane Ricker placed 2nd

Girls 200 Free – Anica Setser took 3rd

Cecilia Villagomez Edvalson took 5th

Boy’s 200 Free- Zane Ricker took 2nd

Jake Weigand took 4th

Jayden Riley took 5th

Girl’s 200 IM – McKinley Kruse took 3rd

Boy’s 200 IM – David Gislason took 2nd

Girl’s 50 Free- Shiloh Lynch took 3rd

Boy’s 50 Free- Gabe Zamora took 4th 

Drake Adair took 6th

Girl’s 100 fly – Chloe Lynch took 3rd

McKinley Kruse took 5th

Boy’s 100 fly – Glenn Ricker took 3rd

Girl’s 100 Free- Shiloh Lynch took 2nd

Girl’s 100 Back – Anica Setser WON

Girl’s 100 Breaststroke – Ahna Heideman took 4th 

Opal Alf Rippee placed 12th
