La Grande, Ore. – The Union County Warming Station (UCWS) has secured a new home at 501 Third Street in La Grande, which was formerly home to Angelina Senior Assisted Living. UCWS normally opens in mid-November and operates through mid-March, while winter conditions are most severe. The official reopening date is currently still to be determined, but the Warming Station board, staff, and volunteers are working tirelessly to get the new location ready for opening as soon as possible.
